Britons Told To Start Prepping
British Deputy PM Says To Start Prepping Candles, Torches, Battery Radios and First Aid Kits
According to the Times, Oliver Bowden, the UK deputy prime minister, has told people to stock up on battery-powered radios and torches, as well as candles and first aid kits in order to prepare for power cuts and digital communications going down.
As part of the statement, he announced the launch of a national “resilience academy” to help people and businesses prepare for future pandemics, natural disasters and cyber-attacks.
The deputy PM announced his plans in the House of Commons, claiming the academy would help the “whole of society” prepare for the risks.
Dowden stated that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, cyber-attacks, pandemics, artificial intelligence and extreme weather could be among some of the risks people face.
Businesses would be offered training to deal with the impact of threats, with a new website that will provide the public with “practical advice” on how to be better prepared for future risks.
I guess it is okay to be a prepper now.
I imagine that zombies will still be zombies though and will do none of what is considered just sensible prepping by having a little extra security, food and water available to them.
